The Theatre Guild is always keen to recruit new members to participate in productions, or as audience members. If you are interested there are two ways of doing this:
By becoming a Direct Member. This costs £30 per year (£15 for full time students)
and enables you to participate in Theatre Guild productions either on stage or behind
the scenes. Direct membership is due on the 1st April of each year (a pro-
By becoming a Patron. These are generally our supporters rather than active members. It costs £15 per year for which you receive priority booking for all Guild shows alongside a free ticket for any one show throughout the year including our March musical at The Woodville Halls. Patrons attending the March musical on the Thursday night are also invited to attend the civic reception.
All full members and Patrons receive our regular magazine, The Call Boy, keeping you up to date with Theatre Guild activities. Members of affiliated societies receive their copies from their own societies. You will be entitled to use the bar at the Guild Theatre on club nights and attend our social functions. Membership also gives you a say in the future of the Theatre through our various Committees.

Our award winning Youth Theatre for younger members regularly puts on productions
at the Guild Theatre, Youth theatre members are encouraged to participate in all
aspects of theatre from acting and direction, sound and lighting and to make-
Junior Youth Theatre (JYTs) for 11 to 14 year olds, meet on Monday evenings from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Senior Youth Theatre (SYTs) for 14 to 17 year olds, meet on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm.
