We are the Gravesend and District Theatre Guild based in Gravesham, Kent.

We are a talented, friendly, vibrant, lively, caring and bustling amateur dramatics company with an extremely gifted troupe of actors, performers, directors, designers, musicians, choreographers, technicians and backstage crew.

We have a thriving adult section, an energetic Senior Youth section and a busy Young Players Group. Combined together, and separately, we produce a packed programme of productions, social evenings and events that run throughout the whole year.

Alice in Wonderland

The Witches of Eastwick


Written by Lee Mattinson, this play is a shockingly funny journey through fives decades of birthdays, weddings and alcohol fuelled hen-dos in Chalet No. 12.

After the success of ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’  this production will be directed by Richard Patch and will be Gravesend and District Theatre Guild’s entry into Kent Drama Association Full Length Play Festival 2014.

Up Pompeii

Based on the original characters devised by Talbet Rothwell and Sid Colin for the Frankie Howard BBC comedy, this hilarious romp through ancient Pompeii brings back all the TV favourites in this full-length play that was first seen on a 2011 UK tour.
