1965 is almost finished. Swinging London is buzzing just beyond these soundproof walls. The morning after the Christmas Party, the cast and crew of Morningstar in the 27th Century are back in the recording studio, readying themselves for a very special show. With a mix of their usual snarky comments, crushing hangovers, and pre-performance nerves, our troupe of character actors grumble through early starts, faltering career choices, and being truly trapped with the dreadful decision to have a live broadcast. Sir Brian wants it, and regardless of what Stanley, Heathcliffe, Peter, Miriam, and Abigail say on the matter, that’s what is going to happen. And, under the watchful gaze of Tristan and Peggy in the control gallery, this festive first for the team may be their best one yet. All they need now is a sound-effects engineer with a smidge more experience than Jenny (i.e. Anything above none). Where is Johnny?

Punctuated with scenes that take us out of the studio, CACOPHONY gives us the camaraderie of a small radio series team, a clutch of bizarre and colourful characters, and the chaotic noises of technology failing. Sounds fabulous!
